  My brother and his friend tried getting into this place the other night. Mind you he has a intellectual disability. Upon reaching the front of the queue the security guard yelled at him quite rudely saying he and his friend weren’t allowed into the club because they had consumed too much alcohol, when in actual fact all hey had for the night was water and soft drink. Very unprofessional and quite rude considering the security guard gave them no eye contact what so ever as if he couldn’t even bare to look at them. 0 stars from me.

  Side bar is possibly the most wonderful bar in the universe. The management and security are truly lovely. Could do with playing more Taylor Swift though. Side bar 4 life xxxxxxxxxx

  Sidebar is hands down the best place to party in Sydney! No pressure to go over the top with dressing uncomfortably, while getting a good deal on all your drinks. Happy hours prices are the best I've seen in the whole city. Looks for a chill time to grab a beer with some love music? they do that. Hungry? I had the best burger of my life there. Looking to party hard and dance the night away with your friends? they do that too. Basically, when in doubt...sidebar!

  Shocking security staff. I turned up to catch up with some friends and was refused entry as apparently I was intoxicated. I'd just recovered from a viral infection and hadn't had a drink for over 10 days. The likelihood was I'd just have a couple at most. All the security guy asked was where had I been for the night to which I explained my hostel. He couldn't answer me when I said how am I intoxicated. I've seen this happen before their as a consumer, I think they just pick about 1 in 10 not to let in. Unbelievabley people who had been drinking and were clearly drunk were also let back in. They make the rules up as they go along.

  I had a really nice breakfast in the Side Bar. Really nice Beagle with avocado and bacon. Stuff was friendly, the coffee was good.
