  When I called in regards to marriage overseas in Korea. (Despite being referred from the Dept of Trade) The representatives did not know anything and was not helpful. I feel it is necessary for them to be more professional next time.

  I travel every month, i work in travel,i find many comments here to be very petty and clearly sour grapes.I don't know why people are whinning about the hours of business and lunch times, it is all clearly stated on their website, if people can't understand basic concepts like opening times ,then how can they comment or contemplate travelling anywhere?I suspect the people bitching about lunch hours are people who had wrong documents, a soon expiring passport or not left enough time to arrange their travel plans who have an agenda to complain.It is not the anyones fault but yours if you purchase a last minute cheap non flexi airfare and then discover that you don't have a visa or enough time to get one , and then want to blame the consulates.I have seen this happen many times.I have visited many other consulates in Sydney , some that only open for a few hours each day and not even open everyday.Each time i have visited this office i have found all the staff friendly, ,they have toilets ( some places don't )comfortable clean waiting area and free Internet.

  not even worth a star... worst service ever... everyone seemed to hate whatever they are doing. showing dead face while giving info to the people who came for service, with no certainty or clarification whatsoever. Very unfriendly. Hope Korean government runs "mystery shopper" like audit so they can actually see what is going on here, and witness with their bare eyes on how they are representing the country "Korea" look like an unwelcoming, unfriendly, rude, and incompetent nation....

  Worst government service ever!! You will be asked to leave and come back for their one hour long lunch. I'm am SHOCKED this is a government office.

  To be honest, I expected to have a very difficult time but the opposite was true. I was met with a helpful gentleman who was friendly and efficient. I was not charged for the service of getting a criminal record check: I can't say the same for any other embassy I've visited. The document was ready in record time and the lady from whom I collected it was amiable enough. Thank you Korea :)
